Note on Server OS: A server OS (Windows Server 2008, 2012) is not needed. For this reason, a server OS is not used in software testing and they are not officially supported.
Note on Home OS: We do not support Home editions because they are not designed for business class networking.

Backup Method
- Onsite and Offsite backups
Network
- Wired LAN suggested, a wireless LAN will be slower and less reliable.

- High-Speed Internet required for credit card processing and remote assistance.

NOTE 1: POSIM Premier will work on Windows Vista and Windows 7 in compatibility mode or with UAC off.
NOTE 2: Starting in version 8.2.16.5 we support 64 bit computers, any older versions require a 32 bit computer.
NOTE 3: Version 8.4 no longer works with Windows 2000.
